SENDING CARDECARDS ECARDS

1. Select a category from the menu (three horizontal lines) on the top left of your screen.

2. Select an ecard by clicking on it.

3. Below the card you will see several tabs: "Details", "Recipients", "Poems", "Send Date" and "Notification".

4. Complete the "Details" section with your name, your email address and your special message to the lucky recipient.  

5. Next, click the "Recipients" tab and complete that section, adding the name and email address of each person you are sending your Cardecards ecard to.

6. Go ahead and click and complete the remaining tabs and your ecard will be ready to send.

7. If you like, you can preview your ecard before sending it by pressing the Preview button beneath the tabs sections.

8. When you are happy with your ecard, click the "Send Ecard" button and you card will be on its way.

PICK UP A RECEIVED ECARD

1. You should have received an email notifying you that there is an email waiting for you.

2. Your notification email will contain a link to pick up your card.  Simply click on the link and you should be taken to your card and sender's message.

3. Alternatively, you can use the "pickup code" contained in the notification email.  Simply select and copy that code, go to www.cardecards.com and click "Ecard Pickup" on the top right of your screen.

4. Paste your code into the "Enter Code" box and hit the "View Ecard" button to be taken to your ecard and sender's message.

FAQ

Why has my ecard not been received?

Sometimes our notification emails can be misinterpreted by spam filters as spam.  Unfortunately, there is very little we can do about this, but as our site grows and becomes more well-known, the problem should lessen and (hopefully) disappear.  The ecard will remain on our system, so you can always ask the recipient to check their spam/junk folder for our notification email and suggest that they add Cardecards.com emails to their "allowed" list.  When you send an ecard, you should also receive a notification email containing a link to the card.  If all else fails, copy that link and email it to your recipient.

Why are there advertisements on the Cardecards.com website?

Cardecards.com is a service provided absolutely free of charge to users.  We are supported by the revenue generated by these advertisements, so please think of them as a positive way of keeping our ecards free.

 Will there be more ecards added?

All of the ecards on Cardecards.com have been created by cartoonist and animator Paul Solomons.  There will be new ecards added as often as possible.
